All deliverables will be provided in the athlete’s Data Locker. A link to access their content will be sent via email, text, or both — based on the communication method selected during registration.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Data Locker?
A Data Locker is a secure, storage-friendly platform that allows you to access, download, and share all of your video, data, analysis, and reports from every event you’ve attended with Work Beats Talent. It’s your personal storage space for everything we provide, ensuring that you can keep track of your progress and share your results whenever you need to.
When will I receive my data and videos?
The exact date for receiving your data and videos depends on the event and is coordinated with the event organizer, coach, or team owner. Typically, you can expect access within 5–7 business days after the event. We’ll send you a link to access your Data Locker once it’s ready.
How is my performance data collected and used?
Your performance data is collected using Trackman technology, which is used to support your development and exposure by providing objective insights into your skills and progress. Additionally, the data collected during an event may be featured in event-specific videos for top performing athletes, promotional content, or shared on social media in coordination with your coach or team manager. Rest assured, all data is kept private and will not be sold, used in third-party ranking systems, or shared without your explicit consent.
What do all of these baseball metrics mean? How do I know if my numbers are good or bad?
Baseball is a data-heavy sport, and we know it can be tough to interpret metrics like exit velocity, pitching spin rate, or pop time without the right context. Our data provides athletes the ability to:
- Track your growth over time
- See how you stack up against peers at the same event
- Identify strengths and areas to develop with your coaches or trainers
We’re working on building average benchmarks by age and position from all our events — so you’ll have even better tools to interpret your results.
For deeper insight, we offer a Data Analysis Package to help break down your metrics and provide tailored feedback for development. We’re also working on average benchmarks by age and position to give you more context. If you need assistance interpreting your results, feel free to reach out — we’re here to help!
Who should attend a Work Beats Talent event?

-
Coaches who need objective data and video to evaluate talent, monitor progress, and advocate for their players at the next level. Our system supports team-wide development and recruiting efforts with no extra lift and verified data.
Whether you’re just starting to build your profile or preparing for the next level, WBT events provide the tools to support your journey.
How do I register for an event?
Registration links are available on our website, through our official social media channels, or via email communications that may have been shared by your coach or team. As space is limited for every event, we encourage early registration to secure your spot.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Work Beats Talent offers credit-based refunds for missed events or in the case of event cancellations and reschedules. If you’re unable to attend, your registration fee will be credited toward a future WBT event. Cash refunds are not issued, although in special cases, Work Beats Talent may choose to issue a monetary refund.
Why hasn’t my athlete received their Trackman portal access?
In most cases, this happens when a parent’s email is entered under “Player Email” during registration. Trackman accounts are created based on the Player Email, so if that field doesn’t belong to the athlete, they won’t receive access.
To fix it, email us at [your support email] with the athlete’s full name and the correct player email. We’ll get it updated.
Does WBT provide insurance during the event?
No, Work Beats Talent does not provide health, accident, or medical insurance coverage for participants. Athletes and their families are responsible for maintaining their own insurance throughout the duration of the event. Please refer to the waiver signed during registration for full details regarding insurance and liability.
